The Basics

The new Honda Dax 125 follows in the footsteps of its late ‘60s era predecessor, being constructed around a T-shaped pressed steel chassis that resembles a dachshund (or a “Dax” for short). Though it looks a lot like the original CT70, the contemporary version is substantially larger, this time being engineered to accommodate adult riders rather than just kids and teens. It also benefits from a host of other modern-day elements such as an all-LED lighting array, standard ABS brakes, and the same air-cooled, fuel-injected eighth-liter single found in the Honda Monkey, Grom, and Navi, and Super Sub. Like these other mini models, the Dax is fully road-legal.
